My alcoholism was a yearning for God. And it all came crashing down when I went to prison for a stupid drunken crime. I'm 16 months sober now since that time and after completing my 12 month sentence. I've been out 5 months but I must confess Sanatana Dharma found me. Books were coming to me, I read about Shankara and Ramanuja. After reading about qualified non dualism, bhakti, I had to know more. One night I had a vivid dream that I entered a temple and seen a swastika. Heck, I even had a strong intuitive voice one morning telling me I should learn Hindi. What I'm trying to say is I had an ego shattering experience that truly humbled me and reminded me I'm not the center of the universe. But this is my problem, I still carry shame and guilt and as of this time I'm too ashamed to step in a vaishnavite temple. I'm a westerner from the UK and I find your videos helpful. Thank you Acharyaji 🌺🙏
